Friday’s List-O-Rama: What the boss is really saying

Corporate communication is an art form that takes several years to master. As one who has sat through many meetings and fireside chats, I am well aware of the underline meaning of management lingo. For those of you just entering the workforce, this is my quick guide to the lexicon of Corporate America and by extension, a graduate level education for managers who are not well versed in the art of dealing with the peasants.

This is certainly the most fluid of the categories. There are several current players that some day will rank among the best there ever were. In honor of the upcoming football season, the next few top tens will be on NFL greats. The first is the running backs. I think almost every player on this list would fall on anyone’s list. This was actually an easy list to comprise. I just asked myself a simple question: with two minutes left in the biggest game of the year, which QB do I want running my offense? That got me my top three. From then I had to work on my football instincts and what I’ve seen and heard over the years. Some great names didn’t make the list.
