So late Sunday Night it all came down to the 9th inning for the very resilient Los Angeles of Anaheim Angels. Trailing by 3 runs in the 9th inning against the Mariano Rivera could they pull it off? Everyone knew how it would end the Angels would go down easily, and they did. This team has their most successful season in 7 years, and they proved time, and time again they wouldn’t go away. LCS Thoughts Through Game 4

Here are some thoughts I have through the first 4 games.

Joe Torre used to be this mythical figure in the postseason. Now he is just a mere mortal on the verge of seeing his team knocked out 9 straight years.

Will the real Manny Ramirez please stand up.

Sorry folks looks Phillies vs Yanks

For all the people hoping that one or both of the LA teams would make the World Series it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. By watching these 4 games something is crystal clear the Phillies and Yankees are the two best teams. A stat that backs this up the only 2 closers now in the baseball playoffs that haven’t blown a save are Brad Lidge and Mariano Rivera. It’s funny how sometimes event can derail you, and change the course of your life. Well in sports it can change your season, and even carry over into other seasons. Well the past 3 days I have seen the Chicago Cubs against the Dodgers, and I keep thinking what if?
