The polls are in for some major adjustments after week 1 results. Ohio State may fall out of the Top 10; Oregon is certainly going to fall after the loss of the game and one of its best players to suspension; Oklahoma’s loss to BYU is sure to upset the rankings but does USC move up the No. 3? We’ll soon find out. In the meantime, I was impressed and unimpressed by several teams and that is the focus of this week’s post.

after two weeks of mostly mediocre practice reports, at least one dreadful scrimmage and a growing concern over his mounting interception total, on a day when even reporters closest to the program reported all signs point to a healthy Corp reassuming the reins by the end of the week, it’s fairly stunning. No: Given the widespread assumptions after Barkley tanked his first scrimmage since Corp’s injury, it’s very stunning.
