Arrested Sanity: Steven Seagal Reality Show

steven-seagal-lawman-image-425One of the worst actors in the history of mankind has a reality show where is a cop running around the streets of New Orleans. The show, “Steven Seagal: Lawman”, airs December on A&E. Beside the fact that this is sign number 724 that we are in the last days, our collective concern should be about the mental stability of the individual that gave the green light to this project.

Why would I even think about turning away from episode of COPS where there is ample material to laugh at those that are obviously less fortunate (and lets be real, far less educated) than the average American, to watch an over-the-hill, over weight, B-role actor play cops and robbers?

It’s possible that at age 57 Steve can kick a little ass, but I’m sure not interested in seeing him attempt it; although, a fight with an old woman during Madi Gras would make for a great Youtube moment.

I’ve hated every movie Steven Seagal has ever made. Every movie has the same plot: he’s cop, someone he loves dies, he seeks revenge, the bad guy is either a gangster or crooked cop, he goes through the entire move and never gets hit, shot or even scratched.

Well, now that I think about it, maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have him do a reality cop show. It wouldn’t be long before someone tries him and one punch to the nose would provide endless entertainment to get me through the winter. Never mind. If they really want to provide an entertaining cop reality show, hire Emanuel Lewis as a Park Ranger. That’s low-budget television I could get excited about.
